Cancelled the gym as wanted to get some work done this morning before heading to campus for a day of teaching, I know I need to stop doing this if I want to achieve my fitness and health goals but sometimes things have to give so that I can deliver my client work.
Got to campus, went to get my laptop out of the drawer to realise it was at home, I rarely bring my uni laptop home with me as if I do need to do uni work at home I can access most of what I need through the cloud but for some reason on Tuesday, I thought I’d need my laptop! So I drove home to get it, luckily I only live about a 10-minute drive from the campus so yes it was a pain in the arse to come back and get it but no big deal.
The rest of the day came and went, I managed to get a few things sorted and then left the uni a little earlier to take back a little bit of time that I’ve done over this week.
The evening has been me wedded to the sofa as I’m really quite tired if I’m honest, so another early night and then we go again tomorrow.
I’m seeing a very good friend tomorrow which will be lovely as it’s been a few months since I last saw them, that will be all the restorative energy I need!
I’m a day or two behind with the 100-day challenge as I totally forgot about it yesterday so did yesterday’s challenge this morning and will attempt to get up tomorrow and do the run and burpees to catch up.
